Default XXR 522

I am going to buy xxr 522's chromium black for my silver 08 tc.

I just orderd my trd lowering springs and the drop is only 1.25 (don't want to go any lower cuz az has retarted huge round curved driveways!!!).

I am going to keep the stock 17in size rim AND just swap my tires to the new rims but I cant seem to find ANYWHERE in the threads ON what the stock rim size is. The xxr 522's size 17's come in 17x8 or 17x9 which one do I need to order!?

Please help!!!

Well just as I hit post on this thread, my co-worker said that the stock tc rim size is 17x7...

So I guess its the same question... will my stock tires fit on the 17x8 or 17x9 xxr 522's??

just do 17x8, if you aren't going any lower the 9's will look funny.

/thread.

With only a TRD drop, you really need 18s. I know this isn't a tC, but it's on 17x8 +36 with 215/45.

You're still going to have wheel gap, maybe not as much, but it might still look odd.

*Jon... I want to keep away from 18's cuz I like the cost I have on my 17's lol. It would close the gap a little more between the tire and fender but it would make it like a lift look cuz the whole car will be just a little higher. I don't want to slam the car but to have a small gap between the fender and tire im ok with... just not stock gap!!

*Irishguy... my stock tire size is 17x7 it should still fit on the 17x8 right?

That photo shows a 215/45 (our stock size) on a 17x8 wheel. So yes they will fit.
