Default 2016 Scion tC Head Lamp problems..

I don't understand why my car seems to eat headlights like crazy. I haven't kept track but I'm sure I've replaced my head lamps at least 4x on the passenger side and I'm really getting sick and tired of spending my money this way. The only bulbs they sell around my town are the basic bulbs and those are around $30 each. So I finally went online and bought the SYLVANIA - 9012 SilverStar Ultra - High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulbs. I placed my order on June 17, 2020 and it's been less than 8 months and my passenger side bulb burned out already! If my memory serves me correctly, that's the side that burns out the most. But I've replaced the drivers side at least 2x and my car was 5 years old in November. What is going on? The only thing I can think of that might be making a difference is that 2 weeks after I bought my car some idiot in a big truck slide across the ice where I was sitting at a stop sign and tapped my passenger side light enough to crack it and dent my bumper. I'm assuming they replaced the headlight assembly with a Toyota Certified Part but maybe I should go back and look at the paperwork because I probably still have it in a file somewhere.

Apparently, I'm not the only Scion tC owner with this problem though. Help? Please?

Silverstars are notorious for burning out extremely quickly. TBH I'm surprised you got 8 months out of them.

I've been on a Morimoto HID kit for 5+ years and haven't had issues aside from one bad ballast recently. Just upgrade to HID's or LED's. On the 2014+ the correct HID size is 9006 (even though stock is 9012 - it's due to how the ground wire sits).
