I used 90mm Halos, perfect fit. I don't know how some guys used 80mm and say the fitting was perfect.
80mm sits inside the so called projector shroud and 90mm sits on top of the shroud. By the way, how sure are you about that particular clear lens fitting on the TC2?

Halos:
Does the inner edge of the 90mm halo interfere with the shroud opening at all, reason I say this is that the projector light beam at that range might get the halo pretty hot and heat kills LEDs quickly.

STI-R Clear Lens:
Based on the comparison photos taken the beginning of last year with the Camry and RX350 projectors both use the STI-R 3" Clear lens, in fact both front holders are interchangeable. It's the clear lens dome height that dictates the spacing from the lens to the cutoff shield. You can pop a little more color by placing 1 washer under the 2 top or bottom posts, can't remember which ones and it's not always the same, just like setting on one projector might be different then the other.

Sorry for the bad drawing but this was my experience with both 80mm and 90mm halos. I got the first pair from supe brightleds.com and the second pair from ebay. Same quality same brightness.

sweet "demon eye" mod!!

question...are halos usually measured by the inner diameter or outer diameter? or just it just depend on manufacturer?

The halos I received were 80mm and 90mm on the outter. I would contact the seller first to double check

Ahh okay.. the inner/outer diameter differences maybe why people with 80mm and 90mm are both reporting that they "fit perfectly"

Looks like black tape to hide the top LEDs, you can't cut them.

I used tape at first but with the heat it started to peel off. I reopened the headlights and I sanded the plastic diffuser, sprayed the top with black primer and gloss black paint. It needed 2 heavy coats of spray paint to block the led light. (go easy on the sprays so you wont get any drips)
These LED rings can be seperated from the plastic diffuser making it easy to paint. Cutting the actual LED ring board might ruin the whole ring since the light diadoes are very close to each other and they run in one single circuit.

Hey Killer, how tough was it to do the independent fog light mod? I have been a bit intimidated by the wiring that is involved in it...

Did you simply follow the DIY that is stickied here? Did you do the extra mod that keeps the fogs on when the high-beams are engaged?

I have HID in both low beams & fog lights. My fog light ballast are connected to the low beam plug using the H11 harness. My low beam lights are connected to the high beam plug using the 9005 harness. I don't use my high beams, I only have the bulb in place. The reason why I did this was because I like having the Fog lights and the Halo rings ON from time to time.

I have a switch wired independently before for the fog lights but now I use that switch for the halo rings.

Innnnnttterrrrreeessssttiiinnnggggg.

I had to read this three times to get a visual understanding of what you've got going on. Looks like it would work for that desired effect though. So you just constantly have your blinker stalk pressed forward to the high-beam position? And your dash always shows the high-beam indicator light?

Yes my fog lights come on first with a full turn of the stalk, then my regular lights
Come ON by pushing the stalk forward
It does show the blue high beam light at all times. Its a reverse setup I have going on

Got itttttt. You might not be able to run that configuration though if you decide to swap out those projectors...you know what I mean ;)

I know, but i am still doing research to see if they will fit without having to cut. I dont like cutting stuff because once its done there is no going back
Everytime I open my headlights I get scared the lens might crack

This is why I use the oven method so the entire seal can soften and make it easier to open
