Default Hid bulb issue

I have a 2014 Scion Tc and have have hids on the car. When I drive over bumpy roads the bulbs shake. Does anyone have this problem?

Yeah I was having this problem as well, try to get it in there really good by making sure the bulb twists tight inside of the hole. I believe this will always happen since the 9006 buulbs are so skinny.

I didn't have to trim the tabs, and it seem like what you're saying is that the bulb is moving once in, I would take the bulbs out and see if there loose, and if they indeed moving or wiggling hot glue them so they don't move.

I was able to get the proper 9012 bulbs with my morimoto kit. I do not have any of the issues you have.

The issue is a cheaply made bulb. A bulb with a good base will twist securely into place and have no issues. I am currently running some cheap eBay bulbs but I got lucky and the base firmly secures.

Change the rubber base ring to a thicker one. that should hold the bulb in place.

USE THE OEM HALOGEN GASKET.

You know, i missed reading on you 1st post that you have a 2014 TC which uses the 9012 bulbs. I was showing you the 11-13 TC that uses H11.
Sorry, either way a 9006 hid bulb will not have the same tabs as a 9012. You can trim the top tab so the bulbs can lock into place.

Here is a side to side picture of the 9006 vs 9012.

Don't do this, you dont want any type of glue in your headlights. The bulbs should
Fit snug, im sure the tabs are a bit off when you compare them to your stock 9012 halogen bulb.
