Haven't seen too many folks take the time to install the LED strips inside the headlight housing. I love how they curve up onto the projector as well. I wish I could see them without glare to really be able to admire them, but from what I can tell they look very clean. What color temp are they? They seem to be pure white 5000k or maybe a bit warmer...which I LOVE. Cool white is so played out.

Thumbs up man.

they are Natural White strips with a white pcb board. I used 2 strips per side s which is why they appear very bright. They can easly be seen during the day. Ive purchased many led strips before and this compnay superbrightledsDOTcom sells the best quality ones and they also have that Natural White that I went crazy looking for.
Here are 2 more pics durning daylight and close up.

Looks awesome. Have you noticed any glare off of the headlight lens?

That's the only thing wrong with superbrightleds.com most of their stuff has white pcb. Stands out like a sore thumb. Should have painted the housing to match the white. jk

Actually i did buy them natural white with a black PCB board but the black made the LEDs look way too blue. I returned them and they sent me white on white and they look way better. Not too yellow and not too blue. BTW I reopened the headlights again to make some adjustments. Pics will be up soon

I removed the projector shield and removed the squirrels (the squares above the cutoff line)
I did not make it a flat cutoff because doing so will give me a ugly yellow line. What I did is cover the gap of the projector shield with some aluminum sheet. This was my final result. A lot of blue at the cutoff and more light on the road. I contacted theretrofitsource in the seaarch for a clear lens but they don't make one yet for the 2011+ TC.

I moved the LED strip closer to the turn signals. Gives it a better look from far

Cool man. I was under the assumption that TRS does make a clear lens for us though:

Nope. I thought the same but I spoke to Zach from TRS and told me that there is no specific lens for our cars, only for the 1st gen TC. He told me to take my OEM lens out and take measurments.
Also, buying a clear lens will require modifications such as spacing and adjusting the focal point.
I would actually go through the whole process but I just don't have all that time. W/E I'm happy with the results I got modifing the shield

Nooooooo...I'm NOT happy with that!!! I had plans on buying this lens very soon

That just really surprises me because that lens is compatible with such a large variety of cars.

It's compatible with Toyota cars that are older than ours (older Camrys, tC, etc.), but also compatible with the iQ and FR-S, which are newer than ours. Why would Toyota use the same lens on older cars, decide to randomly use a different lens on just our car, and then go back to using the old lens on their brand new cars? Just doesn't make sense to me.

I really wouldn't spend the money and time on a clear lens. I would upgrade the projector
To a real HID one instead. TRS has this kit
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=254

It comes with everything you'll need and fits our housings.

Also, about those LED strips that are dual color White/Amber...yes they are all over Ebay
but the white is around 8000k which I can't stand. Blue lights look cheap but that's just me.
Anyway next project ill be looking into is custom LED tailights

Yeahhh, I was looking at that kit for awhile and I'm glad they finally have a version listed for the 2011+ model. My main concern is the way the smaller lens of the mini would look in the factory shroud that is designed for the OEM 3" lens. Plus, I just don't feel like dropping the $150 on the kit, sigh. $40 was much easier to stomach lol. Bixenon would be pretty sweet though.

I was thinking the same. Our OEM projectors use a bigger lens and the reflector bowl
Is shaped wider. The Mini H1 has good projection on the road but suffers from spreading
light in width. I don't think we NEED a projector upgrade. Clear lens would be good enough.
I did a retrofit on my old 2001 Mustang GT, I went from reflectors to Acural TL
Projectors and only then I notice a HUGE improvement.
