Default Repairing my lip

Tool List:
Bondo Glass
Masking Tape
80 Grit Sandpaper
180 Grit Sandpaper
220 Grit Sandpaper

I pulled out of a driveway differently then when I had parked...ended up with half my front bumper hanging off the body and snapped my lip into two pieces.

I've decided to bring her back from the dead in my attempts to resurrect her.

Night 1:
-Figure out how to bond two pieces of plastic together
-Saw a bunch of Youtube videos and the most popular solutions were:
1. Plastic Welding -Deburr and clean the damaged area with a rotary file, then buy a stick of plastic [looks like a black glue stick], and melt it between the damaged areas for a sturdy bond.
Im thinking this is probably the Pro option and you'll get the best results using this method. Cheapest i could find it was [harbor freights] $49.99 for the welder (needs air compressor) and $5 for the plastic welding sticks
2. Bondo Glass Bond -I've never heard of it, but i saw a 3m video on the product that said its 2X stronger than regular body filler because its some kind of Bondo Fiberglass mix. Im familiar with bondo, so i opt out of option one and went with this instead.
Cant go wrong with $13. I chose to go the less expensive route because the lip was only about $70. In my mind, the cost of repair cannot exceed half the cost of part..otherwise it aint worth it.

I didnt take many pictures cause i wasnt sure it was gonna work but it does work

Process:
-Practice mixing a small amount, to see how the product reacts and what ratio of harder to bondo glass works
-Clean around the area that will be bonded, sand of any sharp/jagged areas
-Tape the two pieces together on the front of the lip to hold it in place
-Apply a good amount on the two pieces and tape or hold in place (An extra hand will be useful.)
-Use your finger to spread it evenly [thats what she said] and wipe up any excess to cut time on unnecessary sanding
-If your mixture is right, it should start to get hard in about 5 minutes
-I'd give it about another 3-5 min before sanding with 80 grit sand paper
-Then hit it with 180 grit
-Then 220 grit
-To be continued...
