Does your Sun Roof not close??

After reading a bunch I'm going to list my simple fix, share a link to a professional fix, and also list trouble shooting ideas others have shared.

1:
This guy on YouTube shows a detailed way of using a soldering tool to make the metal connector pin back to a new full length connector.

2: WHAT I DID is put a piece of tape on the inside of the dome light casing. You know when sitting in the car and your finger touches the close button? Take that casing off and put a piece of tape on the inside.
NOTE- you must remove the circuit board to put a piece of tape there. Put circuit board back and test it. If it still doesn't close add another piece of tape. Problem solved no money spent.

3: Other people say clean the tracks, lube them up with WD-40 or what not. also to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and try again. Before trying step 3, I did step 2 and that was all. I still cleaned the tracks just because why not, we're adults.
