So last week my battery light came on and I went to O'Reillys to get a battery test done. Turns out my battery was fine it was just a low charge because my alternator was failing. So I installed a new alternator but during the process I forgot to remove the negative lead to the battery
and the battery wire from the alternator hit a metal bracket and arced. Now my car won't start I checked if all the wires and everything was installed properly from the alternator and battery and everything is fine. I even checked some of the starter fuses and they looked good too.
The engine won't even turn over or anything and my check engine light is on..
