Haha thnx for the info. I think 40mph and up is decently quick in the tc2 its the 0-30 that concerns me about racing ppl and auto- Xing. Any ideas of what kind of performance parys that will help with that? Whethr its out or not

Turbo haha! I'm still trying to get more evolved knowledge wise in the mechanic area and making the car go faster. So I'm not even going to say what I think might get the lower end torque. I'm trying to find out for certain my self. If anyone else on here can give some pointers. That's be great!

Hah of course turbo. Everyone resorts to that. Mineaswell buoght an evo. This car will b my daily driver for ever hopefully and plan to hav a gtr r35 that sits in the garage most of the time and im gunna need this car to b under warrantee or close to it where i can throw on the parts. Aftermarket turbos scare me in the sense that rippin on the car really hard could break something. Of course every car has that concen but evos and stis and even gtrs are bought to with stand that. A flavorful n/a build with some good suspension mods i think would make this car great. Not good. Great. Lol the nst pulley is going to be a great buy most likely and i am waiting to hear that its gone thru multiple buyers hard driving experiences and keeps going. Lets hope for the best that nst makes another super solid alum. Pulley!

I'm surprised you say that you notice more of a difference at 40 mph+. Reducing the pulley weight should really be most effective at low speeds, not high speeds. Your results might have more to do with being an auto vs a manual.

Anyway, to improve AutoX times, you need better suspension and tires. Car has plenty of power stock for AutoX. I have an intake, short shifter and will be getting the pulley and exhaust, but none of them make much of a difference for our car on the track.

See maybe cuz i do hav an auto. Use to have an 06 mustang gt manual and needed a car that had a lil sporty quickness to it and an a/t for everyday commuting to shool and work and back home every damn day haba. And ive been in the autox clubs for the past few years and auto dont lose u races wen ur only in 2nd the whole time anyways. But ya tires will b a must but i wanna burn these up first. I do think it needs some more pick up in the low gears tho. My goal is to b 200hp at the wheels

Yea I coulda bought an Sti or evo. But the tc fit me most in what I wanted in a car. I wanted a brand new car, something under 25k ish, top of the line for that model, easy to customize, and I wanted to have lots of aftermarket parts and although the tc didn't have anything when I first bought it. There's more and more parts coming out. The way I think about it. If I would have bought a brand new Sti or evo. I would have spent a good 30-35k and a tc worth 20k with 10-15k in upgrades. Yea it's still fwd but you should be able to trash a evo/Sti.

200 to the wheels is going to be hard. On the dyno I only got about 150 to the wheels with the nst pulley and sri

yea me too. i just want to beat people tht wanna race. ive had a g35 sedan, si, r32, acura cl, tc1 with some parts. all ive raced with nothing on my car. and all ive lost to pretty badly except the tc1 with full exhaust and intake. and the only reason why i lost is because he had a 5speed and i was still getting used to the a/t's shifting. i would love a good 250whp, but thats a small turbo.. and im not sure if i want to do turbo or not.

I'm very curious what that AEM FIC piggyback will do. I'll def. be grabbing that after I toss this pulley, eibach springs, and cusco strut bar on.

Haha I don't know about all that, but I am definitely looking forward to seeing what it can do.

If you want the strut bar...get in on the group buy! There are still two more days left

i think we should have a whole scion meet in the middle of the country. we can have people that want to show off there 16-22 and also run a little road course. in houston scion meets can get up to 400+ scions. think of what we can get if there was one for the whole US!

Just so you know you can't just throw a new ECU on; someone has to tune it.

370z? naw...when u install the strut bar and crank the engine...u get that "tun-tun-tun-tunnn" transformer sound and the tC2 turns into f'n optimus prime

...or megatron if its bad enough

My friends and I have previously determined that dub step sounds like angry robots so just crank some of that and there you go!
