Default Check Engine Light..

Hey guys 2014 tC just got a Check Engine Light while driving home, just got an oil change approx 2 weeks ago and installed a cold air intake a week ago.
I looked at the intake and everything is still fitted fine. Looked at the oil and it looked a bit low? Can low oil cause a Check Engine Light?

Any insight will help.

I would say it's unlikely that your low oil is causing your CEL. Most that likely, it could be your CAI.
I would consider removing the Cold Air Intake and Re-installing your Stock Intake and see if that was the cause of your problem.

What are your CEL / OBDII Codes?

I took it to Midas and it was the MAF sensor. I forgot to ask him for a print off of the Codes. But he said it could just be a little dirty and to clean it, but since I have the CAI I've been thinking about upgrading to a Jet MAF sensor.
