Default Exhaust note for the 2AR-FE?

I was listening to a few different videos y'all have put online with the axleback exhausts that are out, and I kept noticing that the tone of the exhausts seem more high pitched and honda-esque than I thought they would be. I have to ask, is this just how it is for the 2011? Higher compression on the 2AR-FE leading to a more raspy tone? Will a full-on cat-back help? Intake as well? Headers (ARE there any headers yet?)

Just... I would love to plan on slapping an exhaust on my tC but I'll be damnned if it ends up sounding like my old Gen5 Civic

Descendant's exhaust is cat back. I know there are a few videos on here with that and it's pretty throaty. At least as throaty as I would expect from a 4-cylinder!
