Few Questions regarding to CAI, Exhaust and Header.

My 2cents is if you really aren't into racing anyway just go for a lil 50 shot of nitrous & save your self the hassle of having to buy bolt ons for the same price for only 3-10 whp ... You will beat any si that's not forced induced ... Just make sure its only a 50 shot & that you install a window & rpm set and a safety system ... Anything more then 50 shot you will need to upgrade fuel system , intake system , exhaust system ...

That's my tC in the video :D I was 100% stock and I beat him by half a car. Honestly if your a good driver & your clutch is good. You should be nose to nose. I mean I beat that civic 2 out of the 3 times we raced that night. Just saying. But I'm not automatic you are so. Idk how that would play out. If you're looking to race, your first mistake was getting an automatic.
Ok here's how it usually goes for the new tC vs the 8th gen Si. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBLBO1LSRr8
As you can see, it will be pretty even because of the torque. Remember, they make 197HP, but at ~7800RPM= takes a while to get to the peak power and it doesn't last very long(~500RPM). Check a dyno graph for a stock Civic Si and you'll see that they don't have a very efficient power band. In simpler terms, how much power your making throughout the RPMs is almost just as important as how much peak power you have. This is the reason why 6 cylinders are usually faster than 4 cylinders: power delivery.
Oh and don't forget, 170tq vs 139tq ;)
