Default I Throttle controller works on tc2

Okay so my friend came over with his i throttle controller for his 2010 xb and we decided to test it out of my car. Performed initial set-up and like i thought it worked. It def makes the car feel more connected when u push on the throttle. from normal to power modes 1-4 theres def a difference especially when shifting where there is no delay. A little more kick in modes 5-9 but u really cant feel a difference. Eco modes sucks and def slows your revs down way to much. I cant even move in eco 6 and 7 car completely shuts off. I never tried the sprintbooster but for $170 less, and predicting that they would provide similar, if not the same results, i give this gadget a 8.5 out of 10! Love the way my car feels with it, and give the car a little jolt! if any one is interest in what part number was used, it was the weapon r i throttle with adapter cable 656-112-102

Dunno how much testing you want to do with it, but I'd LOVE to see you drive it in ECO 1-4 (pick a functional setting) and drive out a 1/4 tank of gas, something along those lines to compare your MPG and see if it really improves.

As much as the DBW can be a learning curve, I really only would buy this in order to go for a mad MPG bump on long road trips.

The dbw lag has been bothering me lately. Mine is so bad that if I rev the car, I can pull my foot off the gas pedal before the tach. needle ever budges. SprintBooster really overpriced their unit. They would sell a lot more if they made the price more reasonable. Anyways thanks for sharing, keep us updated.

Ok so i still havent made a video but i did do a test on a 4 gallon tank and to my surprise i gained almost a 5 mpg increase. i was usually getting around 25-27mpg mixed driving. on a 4 gallon tank i usually get around 106 miles before i really need to fill up. Im in training for the new position i was promoted too and its a pretty long drive with mixed highway and city. With the i throttle set on eco 2(felt that was the most practical setting anything higher was way to unresponsive and dangerous) i got 127 miles so far i still have a little more juice to go! which is appox a 31.5mpg range! on power mode i wasted a lot of gas because it makes me rev happy lol!

does this fix the issue where the revs hold at a certain rpm for 1-2 seconds after you let go of the pedal when shifting gears?

I havent really checked because i havent really had it on power mode..ive been doing economy tests which have came out great! Ill check tomorrow or tonight if i go back out! I have to say that in power mode tho when i first tested it, my exhaust sounds a little more aggressive, and something that seems weird is that when i take of traction and stability the car moves faster when power mode is on! does the traction and stability take some of our torque away some how when on?!

just took car out for a drive and it does not eliminate rev match fully, but i noticed that when the device is off, as soon as i touch the clutch and revs go up instantly before i shift, when on power mode as well as eco mood, theres about a 2-3 sec delay and then the rev match occurs

Oh ok. Cuz that rev. Issue is something i wanna fix and sprintbooster supposedly fixes that but its too expensive for what it does. Imo.

just more responsive no added horsepower..i will say that when it comes to racing...i shift alot a better and actually reduced my 0-60 time just a little. I can kinda feel that sweet spot for the car which is around 5800-5900 rpm
