Hey guys, I have a 2015 Scion tC automatic with 20K original miles. I know the car may have sat for a few years or just barley used, however with that said I noticed the transmission has shifts that I can feel when it’s cold, they 90% go away when it’s warm. The dealer said it’s normal for the rougher shifts when cold, but I’m not sure about the other times. Doesn’t jerk or idle weird, just not smooth as I thought it would be. I read a transmission flush could help and was also looking into maybe changing the spark plugs. I guess what I’m getting at is since the car was barley used in the past 6 years would it be worth changing the granny fluid and plugs just as preventative maintenance. I have all the records from the one owner and it’s not been in a wreck. Please let me know what you guys think! Maybe I’m overthinking and feeling this but I haven’t had a car in 11 years so I’m just really happy to have one and just want to keep up on the maintenance even if it’s a little early on. BTW it had the original tires still and brakes.
