Default Problems with CAI in very cold winter?

Winter is coming very soon and because I'm living in one of the coldest city (Edmonton, Canada) in the world which has -3x degrees in the winter. I'm worrying about the CAI may put too much cold/dense air in the engine which I heard may reduce the engine response. And layers of frost may form on the tube of the CAI which may damage the CAI. Should i just keep the CAI, change it to a SRI or put my stock intake system back? Any ideas? Thanks

hey man, im out of london ontario. and ran it during the winter while living in ottawa. i had no issues unless i went through a car wash which was stupid. if you get a lot of snow which im sure you did like ottawa does. it might be safer to run with the SRI. i didnt change it but if ur really worried about it just play it safe!

Had my CAI on a 05 Corolla XRS for 3 winters in a row and never had any single problem. You're probably safe. I even put the hydroshield on the tC.
