Default 2015 Scion tC/ thinking Dezod Turbo kit

I'm new to the site and I've been contemplating installing the Dezod turbo kit on my 2015 Scion tC 6speed manual. I've been researching it a lot but haven't been able to find much on the 2015 model and having a turbo installed. Money's not the issue and I'm not to familiar with having an n/a car turboed. I'm aware that if i want to see big gains in whp I'd have to build the internals, I'm just wondering how much boost if any my stock 2AR-FE engine can take if I get the complete turbo kit from Dezod. I'm only looking to get between 250-300whp if possible.

250-300 is easily attainable on stock internals.

Don't see the phrase "money's not the issue" very often from Scion owners lol.

If you're looking for information on turboing this car, don't specifically look for 2015 information. The car's engine has been the same since 2011. There is plenty of information about the Dezod kit for 2011+.

Lol its either spend my money on a daily driver that's faster or turbo my current daily driver.

And I've seen plenty of forums on 2011 and I know the engines are the same but i still wanted to see if anyone had done it on a newer model so I could compare to the older forums.

How much psi do you think my engine could handle with stock internals. I know I'd eventually have to get a new clutch and to get an exhaust

I went turbo I have a 2014 my engine went not to long ago but I've put a new engine In and I'm building the original

A bit of advice make sure u don't use the AEM fic it will give u nothing but problems go with a full ecm like aem series 2

The FIC was most likely the main reason my engine blew it would run lean when ever it wanted.

And I ran 8 lbs and I was at 305 whp

How long did it take for your engine to blow? And do you think anything other than the AEM was the cause?

Do you have a link so i could check out the aem series 2 and at 8lb is 305 what was read from the dyno?

305 is at the dyno and the other causes was i didn't have a catch can and was getting excessive blow by and the piston rings is what went out and a rear main seal after 10000 miles

That's the series 2 from dezod

Any other questions don't be afraid to ask

So other than the series 2 would you recommend doing anything else to the stock engine? I'd be more than happy with 305 whp on 8 lbs cause i'm still going to daily it i just want to make sure it lasts for awhile

Just make sure the tune is great and it should last when u have the full ecm and a catch can hooked up

I daily my car to and I'm putting the turbo back on in a couple of weeks on stock block until late my original motor is built sometime next year
