So the dyno from the first page was on an automatic tranny? If so I may have to rethink my build plan.

Could you please provide me with a brief description of the difference between the AT and MT kits? Less boost for the AT? Different IC pipes? Enlighten me please!

 

Turbo specs are different. That's it. All else the same. Everyone ships with 9PSI

 

So the AT kit does not use the Genuine Garrett T3/T04E turbocharger? What clam shell does it use instead?

 

We ONLY use Garrett turbochargers. Just the sizing of it is slightly different from manual to auto.

 

Thanks for the clarification. I just had a considerable raise come my way to boost has become a possibility. Last Question. I noticed on the dyno graphs that the AT makes considerable more torque as compared to the MT dyno. Does this have to do with the AT's transferring power better or just an isolated event?

 

The auto trans loads up the different spec turbo quite well. It makes good TQ pretty fast.

 

Let me know if there any more Q's.

We have stock built up on plenty of these parts for this kit including intercooler pipes, maifolds, downpipes and dump tubes

Whats the turbo on the AT and is the 2.5 intake included in the intercooler piping kit?

 

It's a Garrett 57 trim turbo. All piping, intake system etc is included in the full bolt on kit.

 

Speaking of auto trans.....a custom shared this with us... Our Dezod TC2 Auto kit and 3" exhaust at 6 PSI

 

That would be me.

If anyone is wondering, the turbo spools up fast and stong. the everyday drive ability is wonderful. Highly recommended.
