Default Thinking about wrap turbo collector

Hi guys!

I have a set of Ptuning. With the onset of heat, the temperature under the hood of the car has become 1000F.

I think wrap collector heatwrap. What do you think about this? But when I asked ptuning can it be done, they told me that I'll lose warranty on the manifold.
I want to know your opinion what will happen if I'll wrap collector?

Did he can crack when the boost 10psi and temperature EGT 1500F?

It's been over a year since I had my car, but from what I can remember I was running 12~ Psi with the wrap with no manifold issues. The engine gave out before the manifold @ 19Psi. My manifold was made by WR, and I'm sure the quality of theirs is equivalent or higher.

I would discourage the use of a wrap on a welded stainless piece. If you want to control under hood temps, I would recommend ceramic coating the manifold, dump tube and downpipe. Companies like Jet Hot can do the trick.

Unfortunately, in our country nobody doesn't do so. I must to remove the manifold and send it to USA, England or Ukraine. And it's at least a month without my car, or even more. But summer is now and it's not possible!

That's an easy solution considering you do not have a ceramic coater locally, however that will probably void your kit's warranty on that item. FYI.

To be sure, contact the manufacturer.
