ZeroEyeQueue's tC Turbo (work in progress)
I'm not sure. Kareem from descendant told me about it. You can either call ACT directly or talk to Rob or Kareem at descendant. They know which part (s) it is.
The kit is equivalent to the Heavy Duty Pressure Plate and Spring-centered 6-Pad disc listed on the ACT site, only for the second gen application.
Ok, I emailed act and hoping for a response sometime later today or tomorrow.
Here is what act has on their site according to their description.
Heavy Duty - HD
- Clamps load increase of 20% to 50%
- Pedal feels stock to moderate
- Many SFI Certified to insure safety
- Recommended disc: Street or Race
Spring Centered (6 Pad) - G6
- Recommended for Road Racing and high power Street
- Increased torque capacity and spline life
- Very good durability and good spline life
- Quiet operation, reduced driveline shock
- Harsh engagement, chatter
Have you took your car to the dyno yet? This is my dyno sheet from February 3rd, 2011 when I had about 500 miles on the car haha.

What power levels are you looking for? 300whp, 400whp, 500whp+??

Early on I'm just looking to break 300. Once more internals come out, I'll turn the boost up a little. I'll be running 9lbs. off the get go.
Act finaly got back to me. Here is what they said
"We spoke earlier about 2011 Scion tC clutch kits. I wanted to follow up and let you know we should be coming out with them in the next 1-2 months for the 2011. We do offer a pressure plate, disc, and flywheel but not a complete kit with bearings."
I will be ordering mine @ the end of july or early august.

you installing any gauges for the turbo? boost/EGT/oil pressure.... whatever. i ordered my gauges but it looks like the oil press/temp is gonna be a PIA cause i cant use the sandwich adapter because if the different filter type.

And, since half of the turbo kit I ordered from descendant is missing (apparently Turbonetics are slowing the shipping process), I have yet to plan anything out. Sorry ):
its all good, im actually in the process of doing the HVAC relocation so i can put the gauges there. I just ran out of wire so back to radio shack, i am doing the LED conversion for the HVAC controls so ill let ya guys know how that goes.
and as far as gauge selection, if i can make a suggestion, EGT, Boost and Oil Pressure are probably the best 3 to start with. a/f is ok but from what ive been reading, wideband is the way to go, a bit more expensive but when done with a tune, its alot more accurate.

Yeah, the A/F is a wideband sensor. If you check out my build thread, I posted pics of the AEM UEGO Wideband Gauge/Controller. Came with a Bosch sensor.
One thing to note:
Do NOT pay attention to the description on the world motorsports site. I asked for the FMIC, but they sent a side mount. You have to specify that you want a front mount. When I say specify, I mean talk to Kareem and Rob directly.
They have a front mount, but you'll need to do some fab to your front bumper. The front mount isn't a bolt-on and go piece. It takes some work to get the fitment correct behind the front bumper. The side mount is just as efficient as the front mount (maybe more), but if you're going for a specific look and want the "don'teffwithmecooler", as stated earlier, just let them know.
They'll most likely send you more piping than you need so you can get the fitment just right. It shouldn't be too difficult to piece together without relocating anything.
Hehe, you'll probably get your kit the same time I get the rest of mine. Turbonetics is slowing the shipment process down. I still need the injectors, AEM FIC, wiring harness, clutch and exhaust. Oh, and the turbo, of course.
