Question 2 Quick Questions...

Ok,
First off, I was looking to add some bass back into my ride. I will do the install tomorrow but have two questions:
I have the base radio, does it come equipped with phono plugs behind it to run my amp?

Next, any recommendations on grounding points, and which wire to tap for the switched 12v source of the amp? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I cant remember if the OE radio has the pre-outs, I dont believe it does though.

Use the remote wire lead on the back of the radio, for a ground use a rear seatbelt screw.

Thank you,

Looks like I may need to use a line out converter then. I was trying to avoid that for sound quality but my options may be limited...

Update:

Just pulled my deck on my break to find...eureka! We have phono plugs. I'm excited. Wellesy, any idea as to the color of the remote wire coming from the radio? I wish I had a diagram.

Ok, found out my switch wire was actually a yellow one on the middle harness. Now I have full power to the amp. My Phonos are all plugged in, as is the box, and I am still not getting any sound. Do i need to bypass an internal amplifier to get the phonos to work? I had this setup in my last car and it worked perfect. I'm so confused!

The back seat has 2 bolts very accessible by just lifting the rear cargo mat and at the front is a small carpet section that is removable from just behind the seats. there you will find 2 seat bolts.
Try them they will make life easy unless you have already run wires to the other..

I am using one of those bolts for a ground right now and didn't need to sand anything.
