Default Aftermarket Head Unit questions

I'm putting my older kenwood kdc-x994 and i was wanting to wire up the aux and the steering wheel remote. do they make a wiring harness for this i know the kenwood has a steering wheel remote wire in the harness???

In order to connect the steering wheel controls to your kenwood you will need an aditional module like the PAC SWI-JACv1 or the Access ASWC. I used the PAC unit to install my my aftermarket stereo and it was a pain in the neck. It required installing a resistor and splicing onto the factory harness. The hard part was programming the module for the correct functions, because the time limit for each step was short and easy to make a mistake. The manual was not very easy to use either, but I did still get it done.
