High Bass and Panel vibration
Anyone else vibration noises from the door panel when listening to music? Mine does that when the volume isn't even very high, but as long as there's some heavy bass, I hear it. Now I had my windows tinted recently, and i think they remove door panels for that, could that have caused any issues?
Any remedies??
Thanks

No it was not the removal of the panels as mine does that and I have yet to do anything to the car still. Its just something it does from the factory. I'm going to take it to the dealer so they can fix it. I'm sure this is a common issue on our cars

Yup same problem, if u check i posted a few days ago about this problem on the same forum. I put in new speakers and used sound deadenign material, it only helped a little. If u guys want to fix it yourselves you have to glue the housing to the window controls solidly to the door (as this is what is causing the rattle). Now i have absolutely no rattle. But let me know what the dealer says im curious. take care.

DIY: Stopping rattle in drivers door.
Hey guys, I started to get the rattle in the door about a week ago, and decided to look into it.
The panel that is rattling is the one that has the window switches on it.
Time: ~1 minute
Tools required: 1 piece of paper, hands
-Pop the panel up and then slide it toward the rear of the car to remove it.
-Take a piece of paper and tear it to be a little bit shorter than the length of the panel between the handle and cloth arm rest.
-fold the paper length wise twice so it is 4 layers thick
-tear the paper again to be about an inch wide.
-place the paper on the edge of the door panel and crease it over the lip towards the outside of the door
-pop the window panel back onto the door
-you may have to finagle with the paper to keep it in place so its not visible when the panel is on
After this turn up the volume and smile cause the rattle is gone

Believe me though, if mine starts rattling and the dealer can't fix it someone's going to find his printer down a sheet.

I would also love a couple quick pics maybe, just so I am absolutely sure I understand what your explaining in your post...does not have to be fancy...I am just a visual kind of person...also could you theoretically do the exact same on the passenger side, cause I may be getting a slight slight rattle on that side as well with heavy base sometimes.

i second the pics . also can u be more in depth i have this rattle on both sides and it ticks me off. i also noticed tonight i have a rattle behind my air conditioning vent above the stereo deck. it only rattles when i hit 38 mph exactly and accelerate when its there. ugh

hm, will try this fix when I find the time. definitely hear the rattle when cruising on the highway and have the stereo on pretty loud. only solution so far was to either turn down the bass or to rest my arm on the door

LOL, guys... total time is like less than 30 seconds to do this fix... literally pull the window switch panel up, shove paper on the edge, pop panel back on...
ill snap pics when I go on lunch today...

lol, he is right...I know I was one of the ones that asked for pictures but I didnt have my car with me at that moment and was having a hard time visualizing it. I got home and took a look and ended up doing it to both sides in about 5 minutes...piece of cake...thanks wellesley
