I was planning on adding the VIP Security System to my tC but I don't know if I already have it as I have a manual in the glove box that reads "Upgraded Security System" with instructions on how to set it up and so on. I didn't bought the car from a Scion/Toyota dealership so the sales man didn't went or didn't know what the car had in depth detail as it was an used unit in a Dodge dealership XD well I have a picture here of the panel to the left of the steering wheel, this is standard security system or not? Thanks in advance!

do you have a seperate remote to arm and disarm it?

 

Noup, I have the keyless start so my key remote only have door lock/unlock and panic with a little key hidden inside the shell.

 

What else does the paper that says upgraded security system on it say?

I have compustar, love it. As long as you feel safe with it, thats all that matters honestly, factory or not.

 

I'm completely cool with the system, I don't mind if it's factory or not. I just had a doubt if this was the VIP Security System Toyota offers for our tC's that's all thanks for all help guys!
