Default Issues with New Radio and Factory Speakers..

I’ve searched everywhere and can get a definitive answer on How to activate the factory subs in the tC2 with a newer Head Unit

( I bought a Sony XAVAX 1000)

Any suggestions?

The tC2 does not have 'factory' subs. The closest it has are 6x9's in the door that run off their own amp to get a slightly more powerful, but muddy, 2Ω signal (all the rest of the speakers are 4Ω). If you properly connected all wiring there should be signal going to those speakers as long as the factory amp under the driver seat is still in place. That being said, when I overhauled my audio I swapped in a 4-ch amp in that location and ran new wiring to each corner with proper 3-ways up front w/ crossovers because of how annoying the tC's stock audio setup is.
