Sound deadening...
Our cars have a lot of road noise, I am going to sound deaden the rear back panels/rear wheel well/passenger walls. Under their seats, thinking about doing the trunk too. However I've never sound deadened before so I'm gonna do the passenger/wheel area and go from there.

36 sqaure feet probably won't cover it all but I'm gonna try it and I can always order more. I'm not going to sound deaden the floors beneath driver etc as they should already have deadener and I don't want to waste money.
Advice?pics? Any specific spots I need to cover?.

Dampener will reduce resonant noise inside the cabin. Basically it stops the sheet metal from vibrating. It will reduce road noise a little, but not block it. To block road noise you have to install a barrier over the dampener. I recommend Second Skin Audio. (http://store.secondskinaudio.com/why-second-skin/)
Doors are the best place to start with a barrier as they let in the most road noise. Just remember though, you more "outside" noise you remove, the more interior noise you're going to hear, and our tC2s are notorious for rattles and squeaks.

I forgot about that tidbit of info.. Mine does rattle a bit. I think a piece of metal or screw fell Into my door when I put oem audio in and now I can't get it out now. Sucks.
I will layer that door with stinger lol. Slowly but surely fix the rattles.
