Question Stock Pioneer deck questions?!

I was looking to add an amp and woofers to the factory deck. The basic pioneer one. and my questions are...

1. are the outputs on the back of the unit actually rca outs? if so are they decent?
2. whats the best remote tap?
3. is there a subwoofer control on this unit?

Thanks

Yes the stock Pioneer has preamp outs on the back of it.
I used a multimeter to find a 12v switched source to tap into. If i remember correct it was middle plug, bottom row, second from the left. Double check yourself just to be sure.
Yes there is SW control. Turn off your head unit and hold SSP until a menu appears. Turn on your subs there.

Chicago, while the head unit is on press and hold the SSP button until the screen changes. From there, you can turn the control **** left and right until you see treble, bass, and sub level, among a few others. I hope this helps.

Thank you!! I didn't hold down on the button. No wonder I couldn't fund it yesterday.

I also have the sound settings on 'feel' and bass is at 5 and treble at 3. To me this is what I like the best.

Its reall easy. Front trim just pops straight off. It felt very sturdy to me compared to other vehicles. No fear of snapping the plastic at all. Only thing to watch out for is the connection for the clock.

Should a Zune work with the USB or is it only for Apple products?
