so i ordered the 4 leds parking/corner light bulb, however after installation, one of the bulb only lights up 1 or 2 leds out of the 4 leds at most, the other bulb was fine....do you guys know any reason why this would happen? I figured the bulb wasnt position properly, but i had the bulb on when installing (with all 4 leds on) but after installation, i turned off the light and turned it back on and only 1 or 2 leds would light up again! thanks!

Did u try switching different bulbs in that one socket? If the other bulb works fine, then the other is a bad bulb. Also did u try that one bulb that only lit up 1 or 2 LEDs on the other side socket? My LEDs on the corners works fine on mine.

got the itch to mod the tc again...didnt wanna spend the money on the sway bars i wanted though cuz id have to put in on credit card, so i ordered the cool white 12led domes, 9led rear dome, and normal white license plate lights. should hold me over for a bit.

next inexpensive mod im probably going to be doing is small led strips for front floorboards. just gotta find something that will match the cool white leds well. any suggestions from what yall have found/seen?

I see ROWONG's comment, and have a question.

Do LED's usually die with the quickness? I got some 9 LED 194's for the corners, and after 4 total hours (estimated) of run time split over different days, the passanger side is out. Driver side is going strong still. I emailed Autolumination, but havent gotten a response yet.

Also, is there anyway I plugged it in wrong? I heard LED's are picky about that, but, its a socket bulb, I dont see how plugging it one way or anouther would effect it. Was going to get LED's all around and interior, but maybe not now...

EDIT: Guess I have to change my signiture........

I had a pair of 9 LED corners in mine from autolunation as well. They started flickering/failing after maybe a month or two...

UHG, I just went to autoluminations site, and you have to pay extra for a 60 day warrantee. Which I did not do, or see at the time of purchase. Guess I'm out 10 bucks, $20 if you consider I wont be using the other side. That would look a bit odd with 1 amber bulb, and one white LED....
Maybe they will be cool and send me anouther, they are less than a week old....

WOW, as I was hitting the reply button, I got a email from them. I have to fill out a form and mail in my old bulb, so I will go without for a week or two, but it is better than paying for a new one.

Yup, there return policy is like 14 days or something like that. Glad they worked with you. Their customer service isn't bad...but I'm beginning to question the reliability of their product. Crossing my fingers and hoping the 7443 tails and 7440 reverse light I got from them holds up. I was very disappointed when I had to take out my white LEDs.

I would like to know how your tails/reverse hold up because I was seriously going to order those tonight when I got off work, but I noticed the LED being out at lunch...I read all your posts about the CK bulbs too.

Sweet, I was just going to suggest you check out those posts. They are holding up nicely. I check them out every once in awhile and I have had them for several months with no issues.

I definitely keep the stock tails in my glove box just to be safe though in case they start failing and I'm not home.

I think these will hold up better than the corners did because they are in much larger housings. Heat-related failure is less likely to occur.

I am going to go ahead and recommend that everyone stays AWAY from autolumination, especially for 194 bulbs. Every 194 bulb from them I try to put in my corners is failing.

All they want to do is blame it on my car and how it has too many fluctuations in voltage or something. News flash: IT'S A CAR. It uses a battery and alternator to power its electrical system. It also has other accessories that use that same electrical system. Like every other standard car. There will be fluctuations.

I'm done ranting...but I really want to know where I can get a bright pair of 194's for my corners...

Dang dude. They sent me my replacement, I just haven't put it in yet. I think now I will put them in the maplights and find a different company for the corners. What a pain.

Yeah, and all they want to do is jerk you around with their crappy return policy.

I'm going to try V-LEDs for the coners now. I have a pair of amazing LED bulbs from them for my license plate and they have been rock solid for awhile now and they are BRIGHT.
