Default 2012 tC to get bluetooth built-in stereo.
I just found out last week that the 2012 Scion models are getting built-in bluetooth in the stereos. Also, the Alpine Premium stereo is being discontinued and Pioneer will begin producing a Premium unit to go along with this unit. Here is a picture of the brand new unit that will be the "base unit" for the 2012 Scions.

Almost wish I had waited for a 2012, but glad that I didn't hold my breath, my car is soo much better, than the Corolla I used to drive, so i'll live with it. Plus, I'm glad I got the Alpine while it was still available.

Also, I didn't take picture of the back of this stereo, but it has 4 harnesses that "adapt" the stereo to plugs that are identical to the 2011 Scions, except for one plug in that exists on this stereo and not on 2011 cars, I'm assuming for a microphone or steering wheel bluetooth. I'm thinking I might pull my stereo this weekend and see if it will work anyways, I will keep you guys posted.

^ you can probably find it on sale pretty soon after it comes out considering how many people already changed the HU on the 2011 tC

I'm interested in the upgrade radio from pioneer, hope its a touch screen like the current alpine is.

What area r u from by the way? I know ur in the so cal just want to see how close to me exactly. Not very many of is tc2 in the so cal area on SL. Just PM me so ur info isn't all out in the public haha

Ah, the new Premium unit. This radio is awesome. Probably the only reason I wish I was getting a 2012!
