Default 2014 tc glass scratch replacement horror

Sorry, i had to vent and seek advice.
I've had my 2014 TC for 2 weeks and the day I brought it home I noticed significant scratches in the windshield after refracting evening headlight reflections near where the oil change sticker is placed. Since it was bought on a Saturday, I had to wait until the following Monday to bring it in and also tell them that the prep guy left pieces still in the plastic in my glove box(good look-over right?). The manager basically told me there was no proof they did it but because the salesman promised it would be replaced upon completion of purchase (my TL was enough trade in to bring home and the dealership is owned by family friend and friend of my dad.) I got it back today with XYG low grade? glass installed in place of my 2 week old OEM Temperlite glass which i immediately called to complain about and was basically told it was only replaced to appease us.(finalize the payment I think)

okay, now as for the advice request. A call has been made to the owners and the glass WILL be replaced one way or another. should i settle for an oem PPG grade aftermarket or remain firm on Toyota OEM Temperlite glass?

The car literally still had plastic on the seats and had 2 miles on it.

I'm kind of shocked a dealership wouldn't own up to damaging your windshield.. just kidding no I'm not lol

PPG isn't a terrible replacement. If you truly think it's worth the hassle then remain firm with the Temperlite but to be honest, I'm not sure it's worth the energy.

Then I assume PPG will be an upgrade from the XYG.

There's actually a small wave in the glass right in the driver side. It's nauseating, yes PPG is industry standard i guess. it's a brand but quality is oem spec.

Default fixed!

Got ahold of the owner who knew nothing of this. He said get it fixed to my liking and call for a p.o. to cover the bill. OE grade PPG was installed at $540 plus replaced the seal with Toyota oem seal. I can see the quality differences !
