Default 2016 tC

I recently totaled my 2010 tC and have an opportunity to buy a 2016 tC with 27k miles for 19000$. I would like to ask if there is any major issues with that year model and what i need to look for when test driving.

Should be fine. Nice mileage for a 16 but damn the price is outrageous on them now.

Exactly. I bought my 2014 in 2016 for $15k lol. I could make money selling it 6 years later but I'm having a hard time just taking a payday on the best car I've ever owned.

let me put it this way.. I got my 2013 Scion tC brand new 3 miles (I ordered it earlier) and received it on June 2012 I must of gotten one of the first 2013 models off the boat. I paid 21,000 out the door loaded with everything. (tax free in Alaska where I lived)

holy fooooook. I did just drop 5k in the car last year, got a new trans, new clutch, and new steering rack and pinion. (2011 to 13) a lot had a faulty bearing in the manual trans. 16 doesnt have the issue. but its been an excellent car. I love it and I think even at 26k that have in it, I wouldnt sell it for anything. (I am 180-185k now)

if you have it checked over, and its dry on the bottom, no fluids etc should be solid. my tc doesnt have ANY fluid drips or leaks. I do 15k intervals on oil and the oil is still full when I check before the new change. very happy with everything (I use amsoil) but OEM oil I did 10k intervals. so 180k of 10k and 15k intervals not a single hiccup.

insurance is 20 bucks a month, I get 30mpg on 87. I have upgraded audio and sound deadened, its a sweet little cruiser. no regrets, and I dont think id want a new car. I sold my 2017 mustang I had and I prefer the Scion tC. its just, it just works. no frills, but no worries about pot holes or door dings. (granted I dont have any)
