Thanks guys! I will definitely be going to the Grand Canyon, but not on this trip. Saw family, went to Roswell yesterday (rather disappointing), and will go by Tombstone & the OK Coral today. And I'm going to an AutoX event tomorrow, though I'm not gonna race.

Hopefully soon I will be back in another tC by next year... At least no rain, and your car will be virtually rust free. Just probably more prone to dust. Can you say "Heat waves during the summer?"

Plasti Dip is doing great. And it took me about 30 min to peel off the Plasti Dip when I peeled it off one wheel to fix it. I love it though.

If you dont mind me asking, what caused you to have to re-do your wheel?

Had a new tire put on after I ran over a screw. The machine stripped off the paint.

Oh that sucks. thanks for the info i really appreciate it. i will probably do mine this winter when my car will be sitting on some 16's with snow tires ha. by the way your car looks pretty sick. its very clean looking both inside and out... and even under the hood looks amazing, not many people can pull that off. nicely done

Yo Mighty...u on the west coast (well not really coast..just west i guess) yet?

anyways, just had a question on ur visor safety stickers....i know matte is best

but is the black too dark compared to the interior? i'm wondering if dark grey would be a closer match to stock.

what do u think?

Yep! Got to Phoenix last weekend and I'm already having sweet tea withdrawal! !! Thanks for asking.

I like the black stickers for the visors. Visors and roof lining are black, so I think would probably be too light. What you can do, however, is get the logos to match your interior color.

Been a while since I've had any updates or pictures. Well, no updates yet. Still waiting on the brake pads (EBC accidentally sent the wrong ones the first time) and I'm trying to find a local place to make me some stainless steel brake lines to replace all 4 lines, rather than just replace the front ones with the TRD kit. Descendant exhaust will be coming soon (Torque Solution exhaust hangers will go on with the new exhaust). I'm waiting for the new rules to come out from the SCCA before I buy wheels/tires and it's painful!

Anyway, went to a small car show with the folks of Team Aftermath yesterday. Lots of fun with great peeps, just wish it had been a little cooler. If you're in the Phoenix area, you really should hit them up (or me).

Not saying the show was in a sketchy part of town, but the cop car did fit in pretty well...

I am going to ask you to think back a bit here...... When you did your LED cluster gauge swap, are the stock lights orange or is there a filter that makes them orange? I was not at all thinking of doing a swap, but now that I have a scan gauge and the coolest color is red, I may have to go for it.

^stock lights are orange (and green and red)

no filters

needle is painted orange...once split apart they can be cleared out with nail polish remover (then repainted if wanted)

If you remove the orange paint from needles, you really need to paint them again unless you want them to look dark gray.

Guess who got a package!

I know I've been MIA for a while. Since the move, getting settled in to the new house and the new job have taken all my time. Haven't even had a chance to race! So I'm still crazy busy, but I have a new mod for my car and I had to share!

Anyway, getting the test pads turned out to be more of a hassle than I was hoping, but they are finally in. I'm hoping to get them installed this weekend and do a review as soon as I'm convinced they're completely broken in. EBC says there is no break in time, but I want to give it a hundred miles or so just to be safe.

True, but I'm in Phoenix. EVERYTHING is dustier here! I wash my car at least once a week anyway and I'd rather the extra stopping power.
