Still not even at 1k miles yet, so not doing anything like that soon, but would LOVE to see you try this with higher octane fuel and an empty car!
[sigh] Indeed, I am a junkie.
Tonight's mod, new material on the door panel! Only had time to do the passenger side before it got dark, and didn't get good pictures, but here it is. Surprisingly easy actually...

same concept I was talking about in your thread 50 mods for under 50 bucks, only I was speaking about my panels in green suede...
Once again, nice mod and adding to the personalization...

In the 12 Steps to recovery, the first step is to admit you have a problem. I've got that one. I just have no idea what step 2 is!
Feelin all Mad Max! Better pictures once the wheels are totally dry and installed.

^ I'll take pictures tomorrow, when there's more light. But if you go to the Aero & exterior section with a thread dedicated to cement tCs. I believe unsungfate has a cement with black rims...
hey mighty, when you painted your rims, did you just leave your car on jacks and painted all 4, then wait for dry? or is there another method, cause its gonna be the first time i pretty much do anything to my car, and this is my first car that i've messed around with. also, when you painted your rims, did you just stick index cards between the rim and tire to prevent the color getting on the wheel?and lastly,is there a specific kind of plati-dip to use and clear coat that is preferred?
Couple pictures here and a couple on Pg 1. I really like the way it turned out.
tubbster: I'm not sure how I became the source of knowledge, but I'll give it a shot... Yes, I have 4 jack stands. Pulled the wheels off, cleaned & dried them, and painted! I used index cards (brilliant idea mospeed!) around the tire and painter's tape to cover the barrel and valve stem. I used black plasti-dip in the spray can and I haven't done a clear coat yet. I'm gonna wait a week or so and decide if I want/need a clear coat.

Looks really good, You beat me to plasti dip!! I've litterally picked up the 6 cans at Home Depot twice and decided to put them back because i have no idea when i'll be able to do the job. How long did you take to do all the wheels?
looks real good! maybe i'll revert to black
did you end up using 1 can/wheel? i like how it contrasts the red calipers pretty well. on the 3rd pic the shadow makes the stock wheels look sunken
