hey guys, i was planning on getting the black injen intake, but was wondering if the color is matte black or glossy black? also im planning on purchasing the intake form autoanything.com was wondering if anyone had any bad reviews from them? Thanks!

 

the 05-10 where a glossy sparkle black. atleast mine is.

yea.. i noticed that, i wanted the glossy black one as well, but didnt know if i purchased the black injen intake from autoanything would it come as matte black or glossy black.. cause im not really big on the matte black color, and i was hoping on getting the glossy one also =/

 

It's glossy and it's AWESOME!!! I love mine. Performance is great and sounds MEAN! It just has one problem, it hits on the chassis and at least on mine I haven't dealt with it to solve it permanently. I'm trying to find a good piece of rubber that I can glue to it that won't show. Other than that I love my injen intake. I recommend it.

once again, i can work around the pricing. injen company is literally 20 minutes away from me so i can just purchase one so thats why i rather not deal with painting it myself because some people actually like matte black!

 

i would definately want to take it, but i'm not sure about the color, does anyone know how to do the powdercoat, or exactly how i would paint over it? lastly, i live all the way on the east coast, so im not sure how much shipping would be if you were to ship it all the way here, im in 20852

 

to be honest, i havent checked shipping price myself. i got an offer already but i also havent check yet. ill check tomorrow at local post office. would it be a problem if it wasnt shipped in original box? the original box is pretty bulky. haha(probably save a little bit in shipping)

 

You could easily paint this with krylon....take it a step further with some hi-temp paint if you want.
