So will the 87169-yzz11 fit? I didn't quite understand what everyone was saying.

 

Either mine already came with a cabin air filter installed, or the dealer I take it to for service installed one during one of my appointments. It is even noted in the list of things they did to my car during the service: "replaced cabin air filter". Is anyone else seeing this?

I had to remove my glove box for the first time the other weekend for my Sirius sat radio install. For the heck of it I checked and sure enough, there was a filter in there.

 

Are you sure you got the right part number? The only filter that is known to fit is 87139-yzz##

I don't think 87169-yzz is correct

 

I got that number off TRDSpark under the 2011 Scion filters

I went to my local Autozone after reading this thread and found a STP filter (CAF1816P) that fits and it's $14. It's not charcoal but you can order a charcoal one from Autozone's website for $25.





There's an arrow on the filter cover pointing up so I just matched the arrows.
