Used a blow dryer to heat the glue then used fishing line and genty pryed it off.

 

Well and how did you put it back on? I heard people say there are bolts holding it. I hope ur not talking about tC. This thread is about the scion emblems.

 

So AFAIK there are no direct how-to posts or threads on how to remove the scion emblems. I've seen a few folks just brush paint theirs, and I'm tempted to just do some superwhite touch-up paint with a real brush on mine... unless we get a better idea on how these are attached ....

 

It's just held on by double stick tape. No bolts! I just removed the old tape and then used 3m tape to put it back on. It was hard to cut the tape to exactly fit the emblem though. Hope this helped.

What kind of paint would you use if you were going to brush paint?

 

you could plasti dip the emblems and you dont have to remove them that's what i did (post pics later if want) here is a site that shows how to do it it's really easy the paint is about 5-8$ depending on where you get it (lowes, home depot, Ace hardware) all sell it plus plasti dipping is not permanent so if you dont like it/ mess up you can remove it
