Descendant or Injen CAI??
Hey Papa_Bear do you happen to still have any of your dyno results from the Injen on your tC? I'm getting dates setup to run mine for baseline stock with A/F then later on with the Injen in either SRI or CAI just to see 'true' numbers. If you've already run it and have the results I'd LOVE to add it to my thread on intakes.
Ok, so just got the Injen, I was a bit confused when i looked at the tube near the MAF...

So, what exactly does this tube do? It looks like it is just something in there to disrupt the air flow? It looks like the tube is the same diameter all the way through, if it was smaller on the TB side I could see it compressing the air and making it seem like air is moving faster than the rest of the intake tube...
Someone explain this to me. I'm not being a ____ I'm really wanting to know the details behind this.

Also, since you have it setup in a SRI, may be easy enough to remove the filter itself, can you snap a photo of the inside of the tube so I can post it up on my intake thread, that way folks can see the difference between this one and the Injen and Weapon R setups?
Injen is setup that way. If you buy SP2117 you can remove the CAI portion and place the filter on the SRI tube. I'm only seeing the one photo on the web of a disassembled Descendant CAI, but it looks like it doesn't have the side braces for the SRI the way the Injen does? So that SRI on Steven7Ray's tC, if the tube is only attached via the TB and PCV hose, it may very well be flopping around in there?
