So I finaly picked up my tC on friday feb 22nd and I love it !!!!! So anyway, 3 weird thingS happened as I was driving it for the past 2 days. I saw 3 different gen2 scion tCs within a 10 hour span. The reason this is weird is because, when I used to have my truck for the past 4 years I would barely see any scion models on the road and in one day I saw three!!! Yes, this may not seem weird to you americans (depending which part you are from) but scion has only been in Canada since 2010 and there are barely any that I have seen driving on roads in British Columbia since 2010 until now.

Sightings: White tC parked, Black tC driving across intersection, RS 7.0 speeding past me on the highway at 330am...I was driving slower on the left side because I am just breaking it in still.

Weird or what?

 

naw man not weird but awesome at the same time... funny thing is that i felt weird last night driving on the interstate and bumped into 6 tc all tc1 thought it was the fellow scikotics friends from the Orlando chapter but infact they weren't. though we all got out on the same exit weird lol

 

You might just be noticing them more now ;)
I havent seen a tc, let alone a scion in thunder bay yet :D

Maybe you don't see them because you own a truck and mindful of other trucks. Now that you have a TC2, you start seeing them consciously because you own one...

When we got my wife a minivan a few years ago, I thought I never saw one the same color as hers, but as soon as we got it, I saw tons of them. Same for the xB, never saw many xB's, especially in Army Rock, but now I wee them all the time.

 

There is only one other tC in my town. I've seen only 1 on the highway while going to work. This is a total of 3 (mine included). I've seen 1 FR-S also.

Dude the day I got my cement tc I met my friends at this crowded Chinese buffet all psyched to show off my new ride and the ONLY parking spot that wasn't like five rows back was directly next to the same color tc but this one had tints and fogs already. Tell me that's not weird. Never seen one before in my life before that besides a dealer and never cement.

 

I have yet to see another tC rolling around in my area after having mine for 9 months, figured it be the same as my last car, never seen one till you own it then start seeing them on a more frequent basis lol.
I love the unique feeling and watching people follow me as I drive by =D

 

I'm starting to see more of them these days, but 95% of the time its a stupid girl driving it. And they are always on their cell phone!!

They need to pick another car to ***** out because I can't get any tC bromance started on the highway.

 

When I'm driving my BMW, I see Scions everywhere, when I'm driving my tC, I see BMWs everywhere. Just the way it goes I guess.

Another wierd thing happened to me. On fri March the 1st I was driving down town and my gas light went on. So i pulled into a dark side street to use my GPS on my phone (I was kinda parked sideways because I was gonna make a U-turn back out)to find a Chevron. Anyway I saw a taxi pull out and then some guy came up infront of my car and then came toward the passanger side door and tried to open it. He was not forcefull or anything but I was like WTF and told him to get away from me. He had a really confused look on his face as if he was expecting me to pic him up. He was in his mid or late 20's and did not look like a crack head. So, I have a feeling he thought i was a drug dealer and he was one of those recreational/party users. What do you guys think? I think this sounds plausable on a friday night in downtown Vancouver.

 

I had the same thing happen. I only had seen one other tC in town (Ontario) and then all of a sudden the other day I ran into 3 other tC 2nd gens and I ran into one who also had the Rs8.0 in a Zhers parking lot... he picked his up a couple cities away though.

 

would have been funnier if u had a RS7 and he thought u were another taxi
