This only happens when the car is running. When the car is off, the problem stops...

Anyone ever seen this problem when swapping out parking lights with LEDs? Any idea what could be causing this?

I'm having awesome luck with LEDs.

 

Are those the turn signals for the tC2? If so you might need an inline/splice resistor, perhaps instead of the hyper blink that most LED's get for turn signals these simply don't blink. It might be the same if those are just parking lights, I wouldn't think so but I'm not 100% sure.

 

Nah, they are just parking lights. The turn signals are above them.

 

the only difference is the current being drawn. I'd see if some load resistors could fix it.

Nice find! Yeah the problem was that autolumination has crap 194 bulbs. I returned them and got a pair of vleds and they have been rock solid for some time now

Back in the day.

 

Iam putting in some uv leds on my corners and it looks alittle challenging(kind of). Wanted to make sure it was worth it first. Did you have a difficult time getting them out?

 

Nope no problem at all. If you look, you will see that the plug disconnects from the long piece that the bulb plugs into. Unplug the plug first, then take out the bulb assembly. Very easy. I've gone through so many parking light bulbs trying to find the right ones that I can do it with my eyes closed now.
