just the ability to have a customizable eq alone makes things a lot better. before, with the stock unit, i felt my sound was restricted to only how loud i wanted it to play...with the aftermarket unit i can have it adjusted to sound better/clearer...whether i use one of the two custom eqs or preset eqs...there also a bunch of other features on the unit to adjust the sound to ur liking
and as far as responsiveness....(wait ur talking about the steering wheel right?)...it has been perfect, like stock if not better. only once have i had an issue where the none of the buttons worked, but next time i turned on the car it hasnt been an issue ever
...my only guess is that my bro was playing with the remote (included with the HU) at the same time i was using the steering wheel buttons
Sorry I was referring to the responsiveness of the buttons on the unit itself. There appears to be 2 volume buttons on the face. I'm guessing that it's just as fast to go up and down in just the same sense as if you were to press the steering wheel volume up/down.
OR is there some form of touch interface that allows you to flick your finger to move the volume up/down?

ah i understand. they just are buttons...press and hold, just like the steering wheel
press them will increase/decrease the volume a few clicks...continue to hold it past, lets say 2 clicks up or down, and the volume will change much faster
...i know there are some things that are both touch and scrollable...but only look like touch (on the touch screen interface). so i will look futher into it....but as far as what i use. its the steering wheel or the buttons on the face...which work the same
So I just came back from day 1 of the OC Auto Show and to my surprise....

....first time i saw it in person I have to admit....
i'm not very impressed. i'm its still good...its still a tC2...but it doesnt look/feel very much different. just yellow...oh well

I think people that think the RS7 isn't sexiness are haters. The color is sweet, the body kit is sweet, the gloss black rims are sweet, the black mirrors are sweet, the push to start is sweet.
The only thing that ISN'T sweet is the yellow cloth interior. But if you get the leather like Zeus did, THAT'S SWEET.
Does this mean I am going to go out and trade in my Crimson?...no. If I had the money to blow on doing that, I probably wouldn't be in a tC lol.

5axis > trd lip kit....also JP USA CO and Berggs will be releasing soon...so there are options
black rims = plasti dip
black mirrors = plasti dip or vinyl
new radio...thats a 2012 issue
2nd reverse light...thats a 2012 issue
option for a black spoiler...we can get that (in theory)
honeycomb grill +
push button start +
yellow interior...yuk
color...its the FJ cruiser standard yellow! nothing special....they should have done like a black-yellow pearlescent paint or something or maybe a matte yellow....something different than just any random toyota paint they have that isnt already assigned to the tC2
idono man....

plasti dip does not = gloss black
same for gloss black mirrors
Hey dude I agree with everything else you say. We can all make our cars as cool as or cooler than the RS7. We can make our rims black, our spoilers black, paint the car whatever color we want, etc... That doesn't mean that the RS7 still isn't pretty sweet for already coming with these options and features.

i still think the RS7 is a sweet ride....but thats because i think the tC2 is a sweet ride. i'm basically saying the RS7 is equal to tC2....nothing more, nothing less
and getting giddy over the color is in my opinion is pointless as the color is just a typical one from the toyota pallet...nothing new or crazy...its like recycling old parts (ex. the new 2012 camry has nice new rims right? WRONG...those are OLD lexus rims....its like handydowns)
