okay so i've just started to do the interior LED swap and i think i've bitten off more than i can chew . . . . . .

i've decided that it would be best to get a professional to finish the job...

does anyone know someone located in the so cal that could help me out??

(i would rather take my car to someone than ship my parts...since my car is a DD, i cant wait for the mail)

Ha if I got him to go to you it'd be like 2 grand for a swap lol. I know you don't want to but you can ship it to him 2nd day or something and he'll get it done the day he gets it and mail it back. Took him like 30 min to do my whole board.

Default Exterior Update 10-4-11 - Berggs Door Visors

Test fitting for the prototype Berggs Door Visors. There are few issues that need to be fixed in the measurements so that it applies flush and perfectly, so I will have to go back again for at least another prototype.

In addition to that, once they put it on...they felt like the rear panels looked like they were missing something. So they measured that out and the final product will be a 4-piece set that will include both doors and both rear panels. They didn't really like the look of it just cutting off.

Despite the fitting issue...the product works great just the same. I drove around at different speeds with the window cracked. I get nice cool air coming in, but without too much annoying wind sounds and the glass doesn't shake anymore at high speeds.

More here: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=208228
(plus group buy info)

Oh FYI, it is confirmed that next up after the visors are complete is to start working on a lip kit (front first). And since the tC2 is still a blank slate, any suggestions are welcome on the style of the lip kit! (Obviously they are NOT going to knock off someone else designs, but just to get an idea of what the tC2 community is interested in)
...I for one have said to them that I, myself would prefer something on the subtle and clean side and nothing really big an obnoxious.

also, the kit will be made out of polyurethane.

How about a kit that looks like the 1st gen OEM lip kit?

Visors are ok. Don't really like the bulkiness maybe alittle slimmer. And don't like that they just stick on. There's not a grove they can slide it in? I'm nowhere near my car so I can't look for myself.

Lip kit. I love the one that was a sema show. The gray tc with the rs2 molded front lip. SEXINESS!!!! Something like that would be cool.

@wellesley, i likie..i'll definitely make sure they try to get some inspiration from it

@jtk2, at first sight i thought the same thing (bulky-looking) but once they were on the car and i look at it. its not as bulky as it seems. they told me when they measured it that they would try to make it as flat as possible. i will see what more they can do

Kid, didn't you mention before that Berggs had said that the channel for the windows was so tight they could not get a reliable thickness for an in-channel visor?
