Ive seen the guide with the TC1 where you take out the whole assembly underneath and cover the hole with the circular metal piece which you'd paint.

I haven't seen anything yet with the TC2 since the body is too curved to do the same thing as the TC1.

i think what Errol (i'm assuming it was him) did was that he found a plug. real simple...it did stand out though. cement body with a black (rubber?) plug

Cut a circle piece of vinyl that as close to your color as possible and put it on. Thats how i covered all my spoiler holes on my 240. You cant even tell theyre there until you get up really close.

Circle vinyl looks tacky... I like the rubber around the hole bit although I'd have to see it first to tell if it looks cheap or not.

This depends on how you apply it. I'm assuming you aren't just cutting out a piece of vinyl out from Joann Fabrics or whatnot and only using that alone to cover up the hole?

How are you accomplishing this?

Is there a pic from someone that used a vinyl sticker to cover the whole antenna hole on a 2011-12 tc2?

I'd like to see this on a tc2 since we are looking to cover a curved surface using a sticker which I think would look awful.

Spoiler plugs is nothing since its a flat surface which in contrast relates with the flat surface of the TC1 of the antenna removal that you can do in the same fashion. The Tc2 is much different.

Default Event Update 10-25-11 - Scion Nights @ Knott's Scary Farm

Just a small update on my last meet, Scion Nights @ Knott's Scary Farm

I took a few pictures, but nothing worth posting..so links this time sorry.

The parking lot was filled with scions...mainly box's and a good turn out from the tC2 community...though I couldn't really tell if there were any on this forum. I did see a RS7 there and a lot of cements. but yea the event was mainly vendor booths, so i didnt walk around the parking lot to look at any cool cars (a lot of stocks anyways)

but as far as the event...surprisingly not very crowded. there was the typical carnival stuff...big inflatable things, giant twister, bull rider, food trucks and kroq was there. I got there around 3...and waited in the long line to donate the toy and get tickets was like an hour long....i hear people getting there around 530/6 being turned away

OEM+ was there and very busy as always. they had 2 xBs, the tC2, and the tC1 prototype.

Optomize was there with a "bucket stack challenge"...u know those cup stacking thing like a pyramid then back...well 3 people at a time did it with buckets..winner gets a prize...key chain or license plate frame i think

the scion racing truck was there with a swag bag for e-mail signups...that was probably the most crowded area...they only had like 3 sign up stations so it was SLOW...esp with all the people that dont know how to type on an ipad....

there was a Scion iQ ride&drive which was pretty cool. i think they had some kind of challenge where they put a glass bowl on the hood and the person drove it....the bowl didn't fall. in addition to that there were a few iQs out to look at.

HPI racing was also there and set up a drifting track which was cool to watch...but damn its like $200 for one of their cars...well the xB at least. the tC2 is coming soon and it looks so real! (i've seen secret photos)

Greddy was there too with their tC2...nothing much going on with them but they were giving out coupon codes...if anyone wants it its...20% + free shipping on exhausts/turbo kits with the coupon code SR10252011 enjoy, but act quick...only until Nov1 @ shopgreddy.com

then as for Knott's itself...

very fun! not super crowded because it was scion owners (and leechers) only. though the amount of monsters walking around was kind of on the short staffed side....the mazes were good. but here is the highlight of the night....

at Calico Square, they announced the winner of the Scion iQ commercial (contest amongst car clubs) and Scion Apocalypse won it. (I wasn't there early enough to help out SE...oh well maybe next time). they threw out some t shirts...people went wild for free stuff....i caught 2, my friend got hit in the head from another 2! haha...it was dark and they were just throwing it randomly. so yea after all that...

they unveiled the concept FR-S!...WOW ...i was literally 3? maybe 4 feet away from it. they also said the release is summer 2012 if anyone is wondering. after that...a break and then The Game preformed. funny thing is i just saw him at a concert at the House of Blues earlier in the week...so i skipped it so i could do more mazes haha

...well yea that's the Scion Nights recap. really fun and big ups for all the donations, SoCal Scion, and the Marines/Toys for Tots!

i might be meeting up with some people from Scion Canada this friday...i forget exactly what's going on, but if i can take pictures (and they are good ones) i'll post them up when i have a chance...so until then!
