Lowering a ride with snow does matter. Im pretty sure its a little easier to get stuck when your trying to plow through snow with a plastic bumper and not to mention its easier to get stuck on a patch of packed snow! Yes knowing how to drive does make a difference but its not the cure all like you make it out to be!
...says the guy who, based on his "location" doesn't have a clue what snow is.

Take advice from the people who know. You wont have issues lowered in the winter.

End discussion.

Thats what they want you to think. I mean yes you may see gains on a dyno but its very little. You cant tell and you probably will trick yourself into thinking its more nioticeable than it really is. You also usually have the benefit of cleanign the filter instead of going out and purchasing a new one everytime.

I know its a tiny increase lol but since its a one time upgrade in my opinion and relatively cheap, its not a bad minor upgrade

0 to 60 .00001 seconds faster lol

Red face

I live in quebec and we got a lot of snow in winter.
Highvoltage1 is right! All people i know with lowered cars will either put back OEM suspension in the winter or use a winter beater and keep their summer car inside for the time.

Even if your parking is clean, not all the parking where you go are, the road are not always cleaned up right away and lowering the car will only destroy your bumpers and everything under your car...

I know many people with lowered cars and none of them will keep it lowered in winter... not in quebec sorry. Maybe in other places where snow is not an issue...unless you want to destroy your car...i dont!

I had my car lowered in the snow un washington state and i cringed everytime i hit a chunk of hard packed snow. I was constantly worried about wripping up something underneath. Its not possible to always avoid the crap. I made it through but it wasnt pleasant!

Default Far fetched?

Thanks for the responses regarding the air filter.

I have an idea, don't know how ridiculous this is, but I would love to install the E-class daytime LEDs on the scion, is this even possible? I think those angled LEDs would like great with the angular shape of the scion. I did a rough photoshop and it looks good. Any thoughts?

Here's what they look like:http://fancytuning.com/wp-content/up...-e-class-1.jpg
