Has anyone else experienced a strong smell of antifreeze in the engine bay after the car has been running??

no. sounds like you may have a leak? check if your coolant level is being drained over time.

For future reference, it is not a good idea to let the caliper hang by the brake line.

Big Tim, you never said anything more about your antifreeze smell. Any resolution? There's another guy on here that had that and used water wetter and crashed his cooling system all together apparently, and he said he was getting the smell beforehand, so maybe it's related.

Well when I went for my 5k checkup i told them to look at it and they said it was normal but I'm still getting that smell after running the car for awhile current mileage being 10,700 I've checked all the lines and constantly checked the level of antifreeze and nothing's wrong but I still get the smell....

The smell is stronger the longer I drive the car like if I go somewhere and do 30 minuets of driving it's not bad but if you compare that to an hour or more of driving it's a lot stronger

Ouch. I don't think I could live with that. This sounds exactly like this other dude. Something must be going on...

Very puzzling I'll keep checking it and if it ever gets worse I'll talk to the guys at my local dealership again.

I actually bought them used from a guy on Facebook In a group called (tc2 parts for sale) I got them at a steal for only $145 with shipping only thing wrong is I need to redo the weather seals but that's not a big deal. Also these ones both reverse lights work.

I don't think it matters what year cause these ones I got, on the box it says there for 11-12 and I have a 13, also check out that group on Facebook I've seen some killer deals on used stuff that's practically brand new. (TC2 parts for sale)

So I was waxing my car and I started with my hood, after waxing it with cleaner wax I noticed it still had a very rough feel to it not that desired smooth feel after you wax a car, so my dad looked at it and took some deglosser and as he wiped it with the rag this pinkish red stuff started to show on the towel, now after feeling all the panels on my car almost all the paint on the top side of the car feels rough( after using the deglosser the paint felt smooth) does anyone know what could have caused this ??
