Default Need help diagnosing ticking sound.

My tc2 is making a ticking sound and I want to make sure it's nothing serious.

This is a video of another tc experiencing the same problem,

I can film my engine as well if needed.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My be the lifters or perhaps normal timing chain noise. Try doing an oil change and adding some lifter additive.

Timing chain cover. Something is hitting it. Maybe you have a chain rail worn or chain tensioner is weak. Get a big long screw driver and put it against where you think the noise is coming from and place the other end near your ear. Otherwise if you have a stethoscope, that would work too. Hope this helps.
