theres a train yard thingie near toronto, about 6 hour drive away, the dealer told me that's were Scion is storing there cars untill a nearby dealer request one, then they deliver and put my assesories on
I dont know what accessories you are plaining to put on it, but you might save a good amount of money buying whatever it is from TRD sparks and putting it on yourself. Things like the floor mats, foglights and spoiler are way cheaper. Will take you 30 seconds to put in the floor mats and save you about $50, foglights, about 20 minutes and save $150. Thats money you could use on other mods!

there is a red Tc2.. called crimson. in my earlier post, i mented my truck being black, its a glossy black, and it only look horrible becuase of scratches, if it had no scratches i wouldnt say horrible.

and Druidiron, im looking at getting the TRD pipes, quick shifter, and some dress up accessories from the dealer, im also putting the custom LED's, interior lighting and exterior LED rod's out of my current truck, and putting it on the Tc when i gets it, first mod im doing haha. later on im hoping to either get HID headlights, or maybe those halo angel eye's headlights. and way later on, im still debating it, a body kit. and in between ill have to put on the nessary engine mods

TRDsparks has both the quickshifter and exhaust. Both are pretty simple to put on. Exhaust $549, Quickshifter $121. Scion's price is $145 for the shifter and $699 for the exhaust. Not to mention, the Scion prices are with the parts being installed at the factory, so if it dident come with that, and you want to add it, the dealer could try and charge you labor. Copy paste from Scion:

MSRP excludes tax. Installed MSRP is the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price for accessories installed by the manufacturer. Actual prices for dealer installed accessories may vary. Please see your local Scion dealer for pricing. Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.

well, i got some bad news, as someone who's been very fond of Scion, and cant wait to get his first tC in his hands.. im sad, and ____ed off.

i currently own a 98 ford F150, that i was going to sell to use as a down payment.. however..

when i lived in Labrador, i needed work done on the truck, say new tranny, rear suspension, and the manifold pipes. i went to get my truck safty and e-tested so i can sell the truck, and the mechanics down here in Ontario has discoverd something about my manifold pipes:

1) the O2 sensor, was welded into the pipe,
2) the tube for the sensor to go in the engine is just hanging there
3) the plug for the tube was covered over and welded shut
4) the 'brand new pipes' are not so 'brand new'
5) my truck shoots flames from the exhaust
6) the strap for my gas tank, one of them is broke
7) theres a recall on my truck now for years, and the stupid dealers in Labrador ingnored the warning
im looking at over 3 grand to get it fixed
9) the tranny, isnt new either
10) the tranny wassnt put in properly
11) the bolts for the manifold pipe are broken and just welded on

i could go on forever from the screw up's the ford dealer in Lab made.

i really hope the service in Scion isnt as stupid as my last dealer.. or ill do the work my self haha

I would recommend doing the work yourself anyway, but Scion/Toyota is ALOT better than Ford. (I worked at a ford dealer for 19 days, and Toyota for over 1 1//2 years, there is a reason for that) If you have documentation/receipts that they did this work, you may have yourself a winning lawsuit on your hands, which could potentially pay for your tC!

i got the documents, i was fighting with the Lab city dealership all day over the phone, it was 14 months since the manifold pipes were put in, 10 months for tranny, so the tranny is still under warrenty. but the manifold pipes are 2 months over.

the idiots up there is trying to tell me, i GOT to pay for THEIR mistakes, when they dont realise, that i can take them to court.

oh yeah, i dont think i mentioned this, but there was a recall on for my truck, the straps holding the gas tank in place rust out and falls off. the dealer here told me i already lost one strap, and the other one dont look too good. the Labrador dealer ingnored that recal when my truck was in the garage, and didnt warn me.

what im trying to do, is get the dealer up there, to say they did the work on my manifolds, 11 months ago, that way all is taken care of, everyone is happy, and theres no lawsuit.

I can almost guarantee they will never admit fault, even when standing in court being ordered to pay.

Good man! Stick it to them. They would do the same to you if you failed to pay for a repair or part, like wrote them a hot check. Thats kind of what they did to you.

yeah - i paid alot for those manifolds, almost 2 grand, for "new manifolds".. theres no way someone can stand there and say there brand new, they re-painted them to look brand new. even the mechanic here in ontario thinks the manifolds are older then my truck. all rusted up and chipped and what not

Chris Welcome. Good luck on the truck. I had a similar issue a shop messed up my camaro and I had to trade it in on my new scion. But as for the color I had to chose my color baised on my options I wanted a manual. First choice was black but they couldnt find one second was the magentic gray and I like it but I have to say the more I see the cement I wish thats what I had gone with It really has grown on me.

Wait for the 2012 models. The new Pioneeer Head Unit will be worth it alone. AND 2 not 1 reverse light. I get so tired of people tellling me I have a reverse light out. Otherwise the 2nd gen Tc is the best new car for under $20k. I love mine, just wish it had 2 more cylinders..lol

^^^X2

im not sure when the 2012 comes out but with the issues you have with the truck, you might have to wait a little longer anyway. that reverse light thing is/was very annoying. i shouldnt of had to install a second reverse light myself but all is well. i love the car but i think they got most of the kinks out with the 2012.

I also agree with getting NOTHING optional on the car except for maybe the upgraded radio. everything else you can buy online and save a lot of money doing it yourself. fogs might be a good idea to just because all the wire work and switch is already gonna be installed and that can be a pain to do.

Welcome and good luck with the truck!

i wonder...if someone bought at 2012 but wanted it to have 1 reverse light like the 2011...

if they remove the 2nd bulb....would there be an annoying indicator saying "hey dummy ur light is out" ?

Crimson might be rare but hopefully not too rare where they don't have any in the warehouse for you.

But with the 2012's coming soon you might as well just wait.
