Not your typical tC owner..
I bought the 2013 tC manual new and have had it for 3.5 months now; I drive a lot, got it for better fuel economy than my Jeep...have 10,000 miles on it now and love the car. I am perfectly happy with the car the way it is performance wise in stock form, so no performance/suspension modding to be done here.
I use my vehicles as multi-purpose transportation. I chose this car for a combination of fuel economy, power, comfort, style and reliability...didn't have my heart set of the Tc as I was looking at the Civic and Forte Coup as well, but the tC met my needs and I have absolutely no regrets and enjoy every moment I spend behind the wheel.
I had the windows tinted 20% all around, tinted the tail lights to tone them down a bit, removed the tC badge from the trunk lid and installed some aftermarket OEM style fog lights. I also installed a Yakima roof rack system and a trailer hitch. I trimmed a piece of plywood to fit in the rear so that its totally level with the seats down, and covered it with a durable black material...it overlaps behind the front passengers seat so that I can lay flat comfortably for using the car for camping as I do a lot of trips, camping and dirt bike racing so it is nice to have the ability to just throw a sleeping bag down in the back of the car for the night. Really have no other plans for the car but downsizing to 16" rims due to the dirt road back country travels I do...18's not ideal.
Continental divide in Yellowstone:

On a road trip in late May near Mt Rainier, WA...was snowing like hell!

At the gas pump filling up with the dealer temp tags still on the car, towing my moto after a day of riding

Yes, the tC's 180hp motor even gets my 550lb snowmobile around just fine...

The bare cargo board before I covered it...no good daytime pics of it covered but it totally looks like a stock setup as the material matches the interior perfectly:
