Use the known good kit (in the headlights) to test the non-working fog light kit. Only work one part at a time, no need to do both bulbs just work on one side of the car as your "test bench." Start with the bulbs, since you know the ballast in the headlights are connected properly you can use them to test the bulbs. Then use the known good bulbs (ones that worked in the headlights first) to test the ballast. Pay attention to how the functioning lights are connected. In the first gen tC I may have had to switch the plug around. Also, check the fuses, may have accidentally popped one in the install process. Hope this helps.

our fogs are H11, so im using that kit. and im not using relay harness. from what i understand, factory is wired up for 55w halogens, so i figured 35w hids wouldnt be a big issue.
imma try swapping parts around on heads tomorrow to try and figure it out cuz ddm is giving no assistance

so i have no idea what i did the other night (im gonna blame it on attempting installing them at 11pm in a slight rain) but theyre working fine. its funny when i turn em on without car running though cuz i didnt use a relay harness so the fogs look like wig wags and alternate for about 10 seconds while warming up
The wattage(W) isn't the issue its the current(A) but with the digital slim kits from DDM, their max current is within the rating of the factory system. DDM's service does take a while to get through, they are extremely busy, apparently customs is cracking down on other company's HID shipments which forces more people to use fewer vendors. But that's just something I read on the internet, time will tell whether or not it's true. This reminds me I need to call them for some warranty stuff. Glad to hear you figured it out.
