Seriously that makes no sense at all. In US can you get vehicles that are equipped with TRD springs from the factory ? That would explain the price difference on that. I have no idea about the difference on wheels tho.

OK that 100% explains the price difference. TRD springs don't include much labor because they are installed at factory and the $2200 includes tires from the factory. Basically just the difference between standard tires and wheels and trd wheels with tires. Here all TRD parts are dealer add ons.
dealerships are stupid and have basically no communication with toyota. Hence why they are probably pricing you factory add on prices as dealer ad on prices. You'd think they'd be smart enough to check with parts department beforehand. You lucked out on the springs tho. $400 installed is a great deal.

How does the 5k morimoto hid kit work on rainy nights? I like my 5k Meng motorsports kit with dry conditions, but when the roads are wet at night, it's like driving around with a couple low powered flashlights. It seems like the 5k spectrum is just "absorbed" but the wet asphalt. Just wondering if yours are nice and bright and reflect well, cuz I'm considering switching to Morimoto.

Ill take pics for you if youd like. To be completely honest, the first time Ive driven it at night was Saturday and it was amazing... leaps and bounds better vs. my ranger. It was dry out.. so the next time it rains ill try to get crappy cellphone pix

Good luck. Make sure u get somebody reliable to do your alignment. By that I mean go to a shop that has a guy who specializes in suspension and alignments. Mine was a nightmare. Finally got it lined up today. Had a friend do it that worked at a shop. Seamed like he knew what he was doing. But I could tell by driving something wasn't right. Turns out he was WAY out. Prob would of been better off not even doing the alignment. All is well now tho. After 3 days of driving to work. Prob need new tires by 20000. I'm sure the belts have started to shift and tread is Def starting to cup. O well. Excuse to go wider. More rim + more tire + more stance = happy Dutchman.

yep, went trd.
Just got the car back and to be honest, I should have just saved my $$$ and went Sportline. Its been entirely a much better pain in the ___ to deal with since TRD had to clear the car for the springs, and now it has to go back AGAIN because they didn't center the steering wheel before the alignment was completed.
Ive been patient with them throughout the process because, well, being an _______ doesn't make them want to help you out. After the last phone call I had with them about the alignment my blood really started to boil. The guy in charge of this whole project didnt seem to care about it being off and told me that I am no longer eligible to drive the loaner car that they had been providing during the install. That really rubbed me the wrong way.

Meh a simple toe adjustment should only take half hour at the most just make an apt and go wait for it. They will settle slightly after a couple hundred miles. Mine went down about another 1/4 inch. My main reason for not going with something lower is A) I live in Canada and it would be no good in winter and B) it's a lot more likely you'll need a camber kit with anything more at the rear.

cool, I hope so. And yes, I understand that and offered that. Its more of the fact he said that that irritated me more then anything. He said he will get back to me and he hasnt yet. We will see I guess lol.
