I started up my car this morning to run some errands. It is very hot and humid today (92F). In my garage when I started the car it was even higher, maybe 100F. The external temp read 81 degrees. I drove outside for about a half an hour and it never deviated from the 81 degrees? What's going on? Every other day it seemed to work fine.

 

I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected. The temp jumped up to 99F. Anyone had this problem before? It seems like for whatever reason the temperature just got stuck.

 

Sounds like it was just a fluke glitch, I doubt it's anything to be concerned about
