Trade for Ford Focus ST?
I did this exact thing had my tC a few months test drove a ST when I went in for my scheduled maint. And I was offered 15k for my 2013 tc with 14k on the clock. At that time I still owed 19k on the car so it would work out anyway I loved the ST.

Finally test drove one yesterday. Obviously loved it. Surprised how much room there was in the drivers seat for a 6'7" guy.
Anyway they offered me 8k for my car. I still owe 7800 on it. Laughed and walked out. Oh well... At least I got the $50 incentive from Ford just to do the test drive.

My fatass already fits snug into the tC seats, couldn't imagine the Focus ST seats. However, I definitely want one.
And Steve, they only offered 8k? Wow, at this rate, my 2012 with 36k will just end up being driven into the ground considering its paid off.

Same. Paid off day 1. So as much as I like the st I get 28-34mpg here in ohio, insurance dropped 100 a month in ohio as well, no reason for me to change 800 / 6 months insurance. Hoping when I'm 25 it drops off completely
And yeah 8k...and then they'd turn around and sell the car for 14ish. And I made sure I washed the "stupid" stamp off my forehead before going in.
I think you misunderstood...they were only going to give me a total of 8k...that's including paying off my 7800. So that means I'd get 200 for the car. And I WISH all my upgrades added to the value of the car. Unfortunately, all that money is wasted...none of that adds to trade in value. I'd definitely need to part out the car and install my factory parts again before actually trading it in. I'd probably get around $1000-1500 from a full part-out. Still not nearly equivalent to what I paid.
Let me tell you, those seats do fit like a glove man. But I think that's for anyone. My girl drove the car for a bit and even she felt like they were very form fitting.
